Luxe Home 4 Mins to Duke/DT, BBQ, Fire Pit, Pool

The house is very well done, obviously newly remodeled or entirely new. The kitchen, dining and main living area are open and comfortable with plenty of light, great seating, smart TV, and a nice view of the cute backyard. Very well supplied including spices, cooking oils, protein bars, plenty of coffee, expresso, creamer, sweeteners and tea - stuff you need but don't really want to buy. Great ice maker and autofill water! Lots of fun extras - loved the chess board, games, record player and piano. They were played every evening. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. Overall the place has just about everything you need along with nice extras like laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer balls, dog bed/bowls/treats, propane gas, bug spray, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, even razors and toothbrushes if you forget yours. Very well thought out with a lot of attention to what guests might need. Check-in and out was a breeze. Very detailed instructions were provided and helpful. Communication was superb. Jill was immediately available for a few small issues we had and handled them superbly. Great location just a short 5-10min drive from downtown, 5min from Duke, 20min from RDU, 25min to Chapel Hill. Only little issue we had was the neighborhood - its an older area which is being rejuvenated - so not really walkable anywhere but given the location, it is an easy drive and parking was easy and cheap everywhere so it wasn't really a big issue.

I had never done a VRBO before and this was a fantastic first experience. The photos and description are spot on. Everything in the home is labeled and set up for low stress. The owner was kind and responsive. I was the only adult with 5 tall teen boys and they slept comfortably and they loved the chess board and seating area. The coffee bars, popcorn maker, and games were such fun touches.We were very close to Duke and downtown Durham. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and already recommended it to a professor friend if his family comes to visit.

Really enjoyed the time and place. House was super nice and they paid attention to every detail with special touches. A nice kitchen to cook in. Lovely decorated rooms and comfortable beds. Jill did a great job with this place. Our family all thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend for sure.

The best VRBO we have stayed in. Jill is an excellent hostess and answered any questions we had promptly. Super clean house, good location. Could not have asked for a better experience. Thanks so very much Jill.
